Hey, friends! Juli Wilson here 🙂 I’m a wife, boy-mama to the world’s most adorable blonde-haired babes, and writer from Franklin, TN. I spend my days as a stay-at-home-working mom – investing my time into my family, running Anthem of Hope (non-profit for mental health), blogging and working for Team Live Original as a writer and content editor. Throw in a healthy dose of diaper changes, hide-and-go-seek and coffee drinking, and you have a day in the life!

The heartbeat of my days is to try to make the world a little brighter while loving with all I’ve got. Sometimes that looks like serving in the city or writing a blog post, and other days it means asking for forgiveness when I woke up grumpy and just need a re-do.

On April 28, 2013 I got to marry the man who surpassed all of my greatest hopes and dreams. Life with him is the most fun adventure, and I can’t imagine spending my days with any one else. He truly is my happily ever after. He’s also a killer writer. Be sure to check out his stuff!

On May 21, 2015, we welcomed our first child into the world – our spunky, fun-loving boy, Finch. Not only is he THE MOST ADORABLE toddler ever, he also is the perfect blend of sweet and mischievous. He loves to run, play sports, read, sing, color and use his imagination. He is snuggly and sweet, but also independent and strong. My wild boy. He has my heart.

Fast forward to December 5, 2016. Our second son, Denham Rush (most commonly known as “roo”) was born! He is the exact opposite of his older brother and I absolutely love it He is gentle and bubbly. He’ll smile at every person that walks by, but he is just as content to sit back and take everything in. He is my little bundle of joy – happy 98% of the time. He has me completely wrapped around his tiny little finger.

My days are filled with dreaming, creating and playing make-believe with my rock-star son – throw in a healthy dose of cleaning, diaper changing, laundry and errand-running, and you’ve got a day in the life. I love hanging with my fam, traveling, cooking, doing art projects, taking long bubble baths and having a house full of flowers. An empty sink always makes me smile, too. I take my tea sweet and I’m a believer that there’s always room for dessert after supper.

Oh, and I can’t forget about these two – my fur babes, Huck and Eloise. Their fav past time is swimming in Fin’s little baby pool, as you can probably tell from their wet fur in this pic. They keep me on my toes, y’all.  But my goodness. They are sweethearts.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to check out my site! Here’s to figuring out this crazy little things called life together. Cheers! xox, Juli

Hey Juli! Tell us a little bit more about yourself. I would like to know who this person I’m relating so much is! :). Where did you go to school? what do you do for a living? Where did you grow up? And the big question, how did you and Jarrid met?

    Hi Juli,

I just found your husbands blog through Pinterest. I re-pinned his blog post titled, ‘4 Ways to Have a Christ Centered Relationship.’ Finally got a chance to read it, AWESOME post. Long story short, I stumbled upon your blog through his. I started reading your ‘About Me’ and noticed that we live in the same town! What a small world!! I would be curious to know what church you guys are involved with if you are willing to disclose! 🙂

    Hi Juli,
My daughter sent me this link to your blog this morning. A few months ago she finally broke it off with someone that is relatable to your EX. I cried while reading this for many reasons….1) that she went through the experience while she was away at school and I wasn’t right there to HS her, 2) that she realized she deserved more than what she was going to settle for, and 3) that she has finally met a Godly man that adores her and without the unfortunate relationship I don’t think she would have realized how awesome he is! Thank you for giving her the words she couldn’t find before to let go of the pain she has stored up.
    Bless you and your husband!

I read a lot of online articles that are all over the place, confusing, off topic and boring, but not yours. Yours is right on topic and it stays there.
